Project Description
Krempp Construction was pleased to be the General Contractor on the new, one of its kind, underground Vincennes University Mining Simulation Facility. This 30,000 Sq. Ft. project cost approximately $2 million and consisted of solely concrete walls and a pre-cast roof structure that was covered in dirt to realistically simulate an underground mine. This facility is to be used for a variety of different training scenarios including but not limited to: mining, fire and rescue, and law enforcement for active shooter training.
