Our company is built upon its people.
The Krempp family traces its first public construction project to 1877 when Andrew Krempp was awarded a contract of $149.00 for the grading of East Sixth Street in Jasper. In 1879, Andrew was awarded the $500.00 contract for grading the public square in Jasper. Now in the 5th and 6th generation, the Krempp’s continue to construct quality public and private buildings throughout Southern Indiana as Krempp Construction, Inc.
Here at Krempp Construction, we are very proud of our long history of successfully completed projects. We have enjoyed working together with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to complete these projects on time and within budget, utilizing our team approach. We have a very experienced management team and workforce who have handled difficult jobs time and time again. We take great pride in watching a piece of ground go from nothing to a beautifully finished product and look forward to the next generation providing our customers with a quality project that works for them over the long term.

Greg A. Stieneker – Senior Project Manager
Greg began working at Krempp Construction in 1999 after moving back to his native southern Indiana with his wife and three sons. Upon graduating from Purdue University with a degree in Civil Engineering in 1989, Greg began working with Geupel Demars in Indianapolis as a Project Engineer and then accepted a project management position with F.A. Wilhelm Construction in 1994 where he remained until going to work with Krempp Construction.
Since 1999, Greg has successfully completed many building projects with Krempp Construction including schools, banks, manufacturing facilities, warehouses, high profile, high tech design/build projects, and Navy/Army projects for the Government at the Crane Naval Services Activities Center in Crane, Indiana. He has had the opportunity to complete several “one of a kind” projects that are the purest form of design/build because they are the first of their kind. As a Project Manager, Greg is responsible for all facets of a project from writing proposals and estimating, to overseeing the design and construction from start to finish.
Greg loves what Krempp Construction is all about: the highly professional atmosphere where honesty, integrity, work ethic, and family values create a driving force resulting in a quality product and highly satisfied clients.
“It is a pleasure to work each day because the people I work with are all on the same page and focused on building together. No matter the task, we all give it our best effort. There is real pride in workmanship and performing a project in the best interest of the client.”
Alex P. Krempp – Project Manager
Alex began working in the family business at age 15. His roles early on varied from working with building materials and loading customers around the lumber yard, running deliveries and maintenance, coordinating and prepping materials for construction projects and eventually working in the construction field on many of the job sites through high school and college. Alex came back to the family business after college to start his career in the construction industry with main roles as a project manager, estimator, and equipment manager. He has since been involved in many different large-scale construction projects and has been building his knowledge in the construction field through being involved in all stages of those projects from design/estimating to final closeout, and everything in between.
