Our company is built upon its people.

The Krempp family traces its first public construction project to 1877 when Andrew Krempp was awarded a contract of $149.00 for the grading of East Sixth Street in Jasper. In 1879, Andrew was awarded the $500.00 contract for grading the public square in Jasper. Now in the 5th and 6th generation, the Krempp’s continue to construct quality public and private buildings throughout Southern Indiana as Krempp Construction, Inc.
Here at Krempp Construction, we are very proud of our long history of successfully completed projects. We have enjoyed working together with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to complete these projects on time and within budget, utilizing our team approach. We have a very experienced management team and workforce who have handled difficult jobs time and time again. We take great pride in watching a piece of ground go from nothing to a beautifully finished product and look forward to the next generation providing our customers with a quality project that works for them over the long term.

Andrew B. Krempp – Chairman of the Board
Andy (5th generation) started working for his father at Krempp Lumber Company in the 1970s while a student at Jasper High School and Indiana University. Andy started full time in June 1980 after earning a B.S. in Business Administration and Management from Indiana University Kelley School of Business. Andy became General Manager in 1986 and succeeded Ken Krempp as President in 1994. Today, he continues as the President of Krempp Construction, Inc.
Andy States that some of the goals passed in from his father, Kenny, were to work diligently to complete a project to the owners utter satisfaction. If the owner was happy, the project was deemed successful. Another such goal was to provide our employees with good wages and safe working conditions. Many employees have been with us for life and we are proud of building a great working relationship through the company.

He has been the estimator and project manager on many multi-million dollar, complex projects over the past 30 years, and manages the company’s design-build program, along with federal government multi-year contracts.
